Urban Rivers needs to make repairs on a island on the South Branch we call Prologis, that has been absolutely battered by boat wake. We've repaired and refurbished the island multiple times, only to have boat wake tear things apart again. So now we are building small amounts of breakwater protection so that the next set of repairs stick.
In an attempt to dodge the hottest part of the day, we'll break the task into two parts this Sunday:
8:30 to 11:00 AM - We'll break down the Atlan floating wetlands that are currently moored across from the Wild Mile, and load them onto the pontoon boat. We'll also likely load some substrate materials onto the boat.
3:30 to 8:30 PM - We'll leave the Wild Mile dock on the pontoon boat around 3:45 and get to Prologis around 4:00. Then we'll reassemble the Atlan floating wetlands on the water around Prologis to act as a floating breakwater. We may also do some repairs to the substrate materials and edging on Prologis now that it's more protected. We hope to be back at the Wild Mile dock before 8:30, but it could be that late.
