Throughout the summer at the Wild Mile, we will be hosting a variety of events. Special events include a lot of different types of events, but in general are public or private events that we act as hosts for. Some will be specific events and celebrations or concerts.
Saturday, June 20th 11:30am - 5:30pm - Private event: There is a private event that includes music, and we would like some volunteer present to help direct people, make sure they are staying safe, and help to set up and clean up for the event. Volunteers will be cleaning, sharing about Urban Rivers' programming, or anything determined last minute. We would like volunteers to show up at11:30 to help set up for the event. If you are unable to show up at 11:30 but would still like to help out, please email claire@urbanriv.org to confirm the times that you can help out.
Tuesday, June 23rd 5:00pm - 8:30pm - Night of the Fern Flower Wianki Midsummar Polish Festival: Join Daniel Pogorzelski on the Wild Mile for a Polish tradition centering around Midsummer! We’ll celebrate with music, dance, and traditional crafts and games. If you can speak Polish, this event might be a good fit for you.
