Specific odd job shifts will be listed here. Volunteers registered for Odd Jobs will get an email the moment any of these are posted, but any volunteer can register for them. Current shifts:
Saturday August 30th: We need to get caught up on a few maintenance tasks around the Wild Mile. This includes removing some graffiti from various surfaces, replacing a couple of the chains connecting the gardens to the boardwalk, setting up an aerator system we are experimenting with, cleaning off the piles of finished hibiscus flowers, and maybe replacing a cracked boardwalk board. At the same time, there are always garden tasks (weeding and planting) that could be done.
Feel free to stop by for just part of the time. When you get in, if you don't immediately see Stephen to get a task, just use one of the radios or call his cell at 813-857-5182.
